Resolution rules

Each selection represents a candidate in the 2026 Toronto mayoral election, which is currently scheduled to take place on October 26, 2026. The selection corresponding to the candidate who becomes the next mayor of Toronto as a result of that election will resolve to "Yes", and all other selections will resolve to "No". Temporary, interim, or placeholder mayors appointed before the election will not be considered. However, if such an individual becomes the next mayor as a result of the 2026 Toronto mayoral election, the corresponding market selection will resolve to "Yes", and all other selections will resolve to "No". If the outcome of the election has not been determined by June 30, 2027, at 11:59 PM ET, all market selections will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. However, if there is any ambiguity regarding the outcome, official information from Toronto will take precedence.
