Resolution rules

This market resolves YES if Pedro Sánchez is formally appointed and sworn in as President of the Government of Spain (Presidente del Gobierno) following the November 29, 2026 general election, by February 28, 2027, 11:59 PM ET. Appointment occurs when Sánchez receives the formal investiture vote in the Spanish Congress (Congreso de los Diputados) and takes the oath of office before the King. The resolution source is the official announcement by the Spanish Congress or the Spanish government's official website confirming Sánchez's appointment and swearing-in. A consensus of credible international news reporting (Reuters, AP, BBC, El País, RTVE) may also be used. Mere nomination, candidacy, or ongoing coalition negotiations do NOT qualify. A failed investiture vote or withdrawal of candidacy resolves NO. If another candidate is appointed President instead, this resolves NO. If the election is postponed or cancelled, this market resolves NO.
